REAL ESTATE VETERAN LAUNCHES NEW COMPANY TO PURSUE PASSION FULL TIME

FORT COLLINS, COLO. (September 18, 2015) – With over 20 years of experience, real estate professional Stuart MacMillan is pleased to announce the launch of his new company, MacMillan Development, LLC. Building on the relationships and market success MacMillan has achieved thus far, MacMillan Development will cultivate new projects in northern Colorado with client services that include everything from site assessment to project feasibility to development strategies and construction management.

“I am excited to begin this new venture in my career,” said MacMillan. “I look forward to being able to apply my passion and skills to multiple projects that will benefit my clients and the community.”

MacMillan envisions the new company to be an integral part of real estate development in the area. The many published accolades northern Colorado continues to receive open opportunities such as building expansions, land use approvals that would add value to owners’ properties, among others.

MacMillan has played an active leadership role over the years in northern Colorado’s real estate industry. His career includes being Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Everitt Commercial Partners, Inc. & President and CEO of Everitt-MacMillan Commercial. Since 2011, he served as the Director of Real Estate for Bohemian Companies where he supervised all of Bohemian’s real estate assets and new development. Through his new company, he will continue to work with Bohemian, Sage Hospitality and McWhinney on the 118,000 square-foot five-story hotel that is planned to be built in downtown Fort Collins.

Some of MacMillan’s clients and projects include the Harmony One 5-story office building in Fort Collins, The Bank of Colorado building in 2534 Business Park, Group Publishing, the Skyline Center for Health in Loveland, the Youth Clinic, LSI Logic, Hewlett-Packard, Woodward, the current Bohemian office building, OtterBox, UC Health, Oakridge Business Park, and others.

MacMillan served as a board chair for Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation and the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the board of directors for the Colorado State University Research Foundation, the Vice President of the Board for Northern Colorado Commercial Association of Realtors and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
